Stephanie Nadeau: Canadianamerican, uses drawing, painting, photography, performance, sound, and occasionally the Internet to make her artwork. She has held performed public waiting rooms in order to make an event out of idleness, labored to create shortcuts in the grass, and arranged for similar sounds from disparate locations to be broadcast together in the same place. Amira Hanafi will return to Chicago this summer after a four-month drift in Cairo. She is the author of Minced English (AHA Books 2010), Trinities, and Forgery (forthcoming from Green Lantern Press, 2011/12).
